Base44 Expands Entity Version History to the Elite Plan
Base44Base44 moved entity data version history, the ability to read, download, and restore previous versions of app data, from an Enterprise-only feature down to the Elite plan. Elite subscribers get 7 days of history, while Enterprise retains the deeper 30-day window. This lowers the bar for meaningful data safety-net features to reach a broader tier of paying users.
A Safety Net Feature Moves Down a Tier
Base44 expanded access to entity data version history, a feature that lets builders read, download, and restore prior versions of their app's data, making it available to Elite plan subscribers rather than restricting it to Enterprise workspaces alone.
What Changed
Previously, version history, including automatic entity data snapshots and one-click restore, was gated to Enterprise, where it retains 30 days of history. Now, the Elite plan gets its own version of the feature with a shorter 7-day retention window, giving a much larger segment of paying users access to a genuine data safety net without needing an Enterprise contract.
Why It Matters
Accidentally corrupted or deleted app data is one of the more anxiety-inducing failure modes for any builder, and until now, recovering from it cleanly was reserved for the highest-paying tier. Bringing a scaled-down version of restore capability to Elite is a meaningful plan-availability change: it materially improves the risk profile of building on Base44 for a much wider group of users who were previously one bad data operation away from real trouble, without Base44 having to give away the full Enterprise-grade retention window.
