Base44: Expanded Connector Catalog β€” 9+ New OAuth Integrations

Base44

Base44 launched a major expansion of its connector catalog, adding over nine new OAuth integrations in rapid succession. New connectors include Box, ClickUp, Google Analytics, Wrike, Linear, Outlook, Wix, Discord, GitHub, Google BigQuery, and Slack Bot. The Slack Bot connector is notable for using bot tokens rather than user tokens, enabling custom bot personas with configurable display names and icons. Base44 indicated that new connectors are being released nearly daily.

A Major Wave of New Connectors

Base44 significantly expanded its connector catalog, adding more than nine new OAuth integrations covering productivity tools, communication platforms, data warehouses, and developer services. Base44 announced it is "releasing a new connector almost every day," signaling an aggressive integration expansion strategy.

New Connectors Added

The following integrations became available for use in Base44 backend functions:

Productivity and project management:

  • Box β€” cloud file storage and collaboration
  • ClickUp β€” project and task management
  • Wrike β€” work management platform
  • Linear β€” software project tracking
  • Outlook β€” Microsoft email and calendar

Analytics and data:

  • Google Analytics β€” web traffic and behavior data
  • Google BigQuery β€” managed data warehouse for large-scale analytics

Communication and developer tools:

  • Discord β€” community messaging and channel management
  • GitHub β€” code repositories and developer workflows
  • Slack Bot β€” bot-based messaging in Slack workspaces
  • Wix β€” website and ecommerce platform

The Slack Bot Connector

The Slack Bot connector deserves special attention. Unlike the existing Slack connector (which authenticates as a user), the Slack Bot connector uses bot tokens. This means apps can send messages as a configurable bot β€” with a custom display name and icon β€” rather than as a personal user account. This distinction matters for building internal notification systems, workflow bots, and automated alerts where a bot identity is more appropriate than impersonating a team member.

How Connectors Work

Each connector is configured via the Base44 CLI and accessed in backend functions using the getConnection() method. Connectors are available on Builder plan and above. Once configured, a connector can be reused across pages, flows, and backend functions within the same app.
