Base44 Superagent: Data Widgets and Charts in Conversation
Base44 introduced in-conversation data widgets for Superagents, letting agents generate charts and visual summaries directly inside the chat interface instead of text-only responses. Widgets can draw on any data source the agent works with, covering connectors, files, API responses, and app entities. Each generated widget is automatically saved to the agent's file library, so users can revisit past visualizations without re-asking.
Visualize data directly in Superagent chat
Base44 expanded the Superagent experience with a meaningful UX upgrade: agents can now generate data widgets, charts and visual summaries, directly inside the conversation window. Until this release, Superagent responses were text-based even when the underlying data warranted a visual representation.
Inline charts on demand
When a user asks a Superagent a data question, such as show me my sales trends this week, summarize credit usage by app, or chart my task completion rate, the agent can now respond with a rendered widget rather than a text summary. These visuals appear inline in the chat, giving users an immediate at-a-glance answer without navigating to a separate dashboard or exporting data.
Any data source
Widgets can draw on any data the agent has access to, not only structured app entities. That includes external connector data, files in the agent's library, API responses, and any other source the Superagent is configured to work with.
Widgets saved to files
Each generated widget is automatically saved to the agent's file library. Users can return to a chart from a previous conversation without re-asking. For recurring data checks, such as weekly metrics, monthly reports, and ongoing project tracking, this removes considerable friction.
Why it matters
Visual output in conversational AI agents is a meaningful step toward embedded business intelligence. Superagents already integrate with dozens of external services including CRMs, Google Workspace, Slack, and custom APIs. With data widgets, those integrations can surface data visually on demand, inside the same interface users already use to manage tasks and automations. The addition strengthens Base44's positioning against standalone BI tools for users who prefer a conversational, agent-driven workflow.
