Base44 Superagent Now Remembers What Matters Across Conversations

Base44

Base44 gave Superagent persistent memory that carries context across conversations rather than resetting each session. The agent automatically retains and updates key facts and preferences, tracks per-conversation context like goals, decisions, and blockers, and surfaces daily summaries, all while giving users full control to add, edit, delete, or restrict sharing of what's remembered.

From Stateless Chat to a Genuinely Persistent Agent

Base44 introduced memory for Superagent, letting it retain and build on important information across conversations instead of starting fresh every time a user opens a new chat.

How Memory Works

Superagent now automatically tracks and updates key facts and preferences as they change, without requiring the user to repeat context. Each individual conversation also maintains its own working memory, tracking goals, progress, decisions made, blockers encountered, and next steps, so the agent can pick up a task where it left off. On top of this, users can review daily summaries and browse past conversations to see what the agent has retained over time.

Full User Control

Base44 built memory with explicit user control in mind: people can add new facts manually, edit or delete anything the agent has remembered, and control how memories are shared or scoped across sessions. A companion update also let users clear a Superagent's memory in one step, with a confirmation preview showing exactly what will be erased, saved facts, short-term memory, and daily sessions clear, while the underlying chat conversations and the agent itself remain intact.

Why It Matters

Memory is one of the more foundational upgrades an AI agent can receive: without it, every conversation restarts from zero, forcing users to re-explain context, preferences, and ongoing work each time. With persistent memory, Superagent starts to behave more like a long-term collaborator that accumulates useful context about a user's projects and preferences over weeks and months, rather than a fresh assistant with no history. Combined with the same-week additions of browser control, voice conversations, and direct app management, this rounds out a significant capability upgrade for Superagent overall.
