Figma: Make Preview Now Available on iOS and Android

Figma

Figma expanded its AI prototyping tool, Figma Make, to iOS and Android devices with the release of native mobile preview support. Designers and stakeholders can now open any Make prototype directly in the Figma mobile app, tap through interactive flows, and experience the app with real gestures and device constraints. The update also enables sharing Makes for mobile review, streamlining feedback loops without requiring a desktop. The rollout is gradual, becoming available to users who update or download the latest version of the Figma mobile app over the week following the announcement.

Figma Make Comes to Mobile

Figma introduced native mobile preview support for Figma Make on April 22, 2026, bringing its AI-powered prototyping tool to iOS and Android devices for the first time. Previously, Figma Make was accessible only from the desktop browser, limiting how teams could test and share interactive prototypes in real-world conditions. This update closes that gap by integrating Make previews directly into the Figma mobile app.

What's New

Preview and Test on Real Devices

With this update, users can open any Make prototype inside the Figma mobile app and interact with it using actual mobile gestures. Rather than relying on a simulated preview inside a desktop browser, designers and developers can tap through flows, scroll through content, and validate spacing and interaction behavior on the physical device they are designing for. This distinction is meaningful: gesture fidelity and scroll physics on a real device differ significantly from a desktop simulation, and this update allows teams to catch those discrepancies earlier in the design process.

Share for Collaborative Review

Alongside personal testing, Figma Make mobile previews can be shared with collaborators for review directly from the mobile app. Team members, clients, or stakeholders who receive a shared Make link can open it on their own iOS or Android device without needing a Figma account or desktop setup. This makes it significantly easier to run design reviews with non-technical stakeholders or gather sign-off from decision-makers who primarily work from mobile.

Availability and Rollout

The feature is available in the latest version of the Figma mobile app, with a gradual rollout beginning the week of April 22, 2026. Users who already have the Figma app installed can access it by updating to the most recent version from the App Store or Google Play.
