Google Maps Platform, Semrush, and TikTok: Lovable's May 2026 Connector Expansion

On May 21, 2026, Lovable added three new app connectors to its growing integration catalog, bringing geolocation intelligence, SEO data, and social analytics directly into the app-building experience.

Google Maps Platform

The Google Maps Platform connector gives Lovable apps access to the full suite of Google Maps APIs without requiring manual SDK setup. Builders can now incorporate the following into any Lovable project:

• Geocoding — convert addresses to geographic coordinates and vice versa
• Routes — calculate directions, distances, and travel times between points
• Places — search and display points of interest, business details, and reviews
• Embedded maps — render interactive, navigable maps directly within app interfaces
• Address validation — verify and standardize user-entered addresses in real time
• Weather and air quality — retrieve real-time environmental and atmospheric data

Two credential modes are available. Selecting "Managed by Lovable" provides the fastest setup path — no Google API key is required from the builder. Teams that prefer to manage their own quotas, billing, and key restrictions can alternatively supply their own Google Maps API credentials.

The connector opens up a wide range of use cases: delivery and logistics dashboards, real estate finders, travel planning apps, store locators, local business directories, and field service management tools — all previously requiring significant custom integration work.

Semrush: SEO Intelligence Inside App Builds

The Semrush connector builds on the SEO capabilities Lovable introduced on May 13, 2026, with the Discoverability release. That launch integrated Semrush's data into Lovable's SEO Dashboard as a research tool; the May 21 connector extends this by making Semrush data queryable within individual app builds.

Apps connected to Semrush can access:

• Keyword research — search volumes, difficulty scores, and trend data across 28 billion keywords spanning 32 regions
• Domain analytics — organic traffic estimates, keyword rankings, and domain-level visibility scores
• Backlink data — linking domains, anchor text analysis, and backlink profiles across 43 trillion indexed backlinks
• Paid search data — competitor ad copy, spend estimates, and keyword auction data
• Position tracking — monitor keyword ranking changes over time for any given domain

No Semrush account is required through August 15, 2026. Teams needing advanced features — ongoing tracking dashboards, deep competitor analysis, and extended data access — will be prompted to authenticate via OAuth with an existing Semrush subscription for expanded capabilities.

TikTok

The TikTok connector provides read-only access to TikTok account data for social analytics use cases. Connected apps can surface:

• Profile information and display names
• Follower counts and audience growth metrics
• Video statistics including views, likes, shares, and comments
• Published video metadata

Publishing to TikTok is explicitly not supported — the connector is designed for analytics and reporting dashboards rather than content creation workflows. This makes it particularly useful for creator performance trackers, agency reporting tools, and social media marketing dashboards built within Lovable.

Growing the Connector Ecosystem

These three additions continue Lovable's rapid expansion of its integration library, which began in late 2025 and has since grown to cover dozens of tools spanning developer workflows, marketing platforms, communication services, data sources, and business software. The Google Maps connector notably expands Lovable into location intelligence — a category not previously covered by native connectors — while the Semrush and TikTok connectors deepen the platform's coverage of marketing and analytics use cases.
