Lovable: Publish Apps Into Your Microsoft Tenant

More than 70 million projects have been created with Lovable, and inside companies many of them run on Microsoft: a tracker built on a SharePoint list, or a tool that reads the team inbox. Each one worked for the team that built it, but getting it in front of the whole company was a separate project. Lovable is now working with Microsoft so that apps built with Lovable can run inside a company's own Microsoft tenant, with the same sign-in and IT controls as everything else there.

How the Microsoft integration works

Lovable connects to Microsoft in three ways: publishing into a tenant, building on Microsoft data, and signing in with Microsoft.

Publish into your tenant

Builders describe what they want and Lovable builds it. When the app is ready, they connect Copilot Managed Runtime and publish. Lovable packages the app with Microsoft's Copilot Managed Runtime SDK and deploys it into the company's Microsoft Entra tenant. People open it with their work login, and IT manages it like any other Microsoft app, including a listing in the company's app inventory.

Build with Microsoft 365 and Fabric data

Builders can connect Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint or OneNote, and Lovable builds on that data and writes back to it. Connecting Microsoft Fabric lets an app read lakehouses and warehouses without exporting or copying anything. Apps can also read and write Dataverse and SQL, which puts Dynamics data within reach.

Sign in with Microsoft

People can sign in to an app using Microsoft Entra ID, and the builder decides who gets access. Anyone in the company directory who has been granted access can use what was built.

Where Lovable shows up in the Microsoft ecosystem

The Lovable MCP server is listed in Microsoft's MCP Center, so users can build, iterate and deploy Lovable apps from their AI workflows without opening the editor. The Lovable desktop app runs on Windows. Lovable is also listed on Microsoft Marketplace, so companies that buy through Microsoft can arrange a private offer.

What it means in practice

Lovable gives the example of a finance team building an app that reads supplier statements from an Outlook inbox, checks them against ERP data and flags unpaid invoices. They publish it to the tenant, the accounts payable team opens it with their work login, and IT sees it next to every other Microsoft app under existing policies. Other examples include construction crews tracking tasks and costs on their phones from OneDrive documents, operations teams turning years-old Excel sheets into live tools that write every change back, and data teams building reports on live Fabric data without writing SQL.

For IT, the app lives in the tenant and sign-in happens through Entra. The code is real code that engineers can work with. Lovable's Business and Enterprise plans include SSO, SCIM, security scanning and audit logs.

Availability

Copilot Managed Runtime is rolling out in public preview. Microsoft 365 connectors, Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft sign-in for the apps builders create are available on every Lovable plan today. Workspace sign-in with Microsoft Entra ID is included on Business and Enterprise. Lovable's documentation adds that the Copilot Managed Runtime connector is on Business and Enterprise plans and that a tenant admin must complete a one-time setup, consenting to the Lovable application in Entra and allowing externally built apps in their environments.
