Replit is now a build destination in Claude Design

Replit becomes a native Claude Design connector

Replit is now available as a build destination inside Anthropic's Claude Design, the AI design platform that turns prompts into on-brand prototypes. With the integration live, anyone designing an application in Claude Design can send that work straight into Replit, where they can build, refine, and ship it. Replit joins a growing roster of connectors that Anthropic has wired into the platform, positioning Replit as the development surface for ideas that start in Claude.

The move reflects a shared philosophy between the two companies. Replit President Michele Catasta framed the partnership around the belief that anyone, anywhere should be able to bring their ideas to life with AI, regardless of whether they have a traditional engineering background.

The design-to-build workflow

One continuous path from idea to app

The core benefit is the removal of copy-paste friction. Previously, taking a concept from a design tool into a development environment meant manually recreating layouts, exporting assets, or rebuilding from screenshots. Now a designer can shape an on-brand app inside Claude Design, then hand it off to Replit in a single step. Replit picks up the project for building, iteration, and deployment without forcing the user to start over.

Two AI platforms, one flow

Because both Claude Design and Replit are AI-native, the handoff keeps users inside an assisted workflow end to end. Ideation and on-brand design happen on the Claude side, while construction, refinement, and shipping happen on the Replit side. The result is a continuous loop rather than two disconnected stages.

The broader Claude Design destination ecosystem

Replit is one of several partners Anthropic has connected to Claude Design. The current destination list includes Vercel, Lovable, Adobe, Canva, Gamma, Miro, and Wix, with more coming. Each connector targets a different end point: Vercel and Lovable lean toward production apps and deployment, Gamma and Canva toward presentations and visual content, and Miro toward collaborative canvases. Replit slots into the build-and-ship lane, giving Claude Design users a full-stack environment to turn designs into running software.
