Replit Stripe Payments Now Available in Collaborative Workspaces
Replit has expanded its Stripe payment integration to work within collaborative workspaces, enabling entire teams to build, test, and monetize apps together using a shared Stripe account. Previously, Stripe was limited to individual Starter, Core, and Pro accounts; it now works for all collaborators in a shared workspace without requiring each person to manage their own connection.

Stripe Payments Comes to Collaborative Workspaces
Replit's Stripe integration has been extended to collaborative workspaces, removing a longstanding limitation that prevented teams from using payment functionality in shared projects.
What Changed
Previously, the Stripe connector was restricted to individual accounts on Starter, Core, and Pro plans. Team members working in a shared workspace could not access or use a connected Stripe account together. With this update, all collaborators in a workspace can build, test, and ship payment flows against the same connected Stripe account.
How Teams Can Use It
A workspace admin connects a Stripe account once. From that point, every collaborator in the workspace can work with that Stripe connection — writing payment logic, testing transactions in sandbox mode, and ultimately publishing apps that accept live payments. There is no per-person credential sharing or separate setup required for each team member.
Context: The Broader Payments Push
This update arrives shortly after Replit announced a strategic investment and partnership with Visa to explore agentic payments infrastructure. The expansion of Stripe to collaborative workspaces is part of Replit's broader effort to make payment capabilities a first-class feature of its platform, available to teams building commercial applications together — not just individual developers.
