Replit Teams Gains Deployment Visibility Controls for Organizations

Replit

Replit added deployment visibility scoping to its Teams and Enterprise offering, allowing organizations to restrict access to deployed applications by role β€” admins, members, or viewers. The feature gives team administrators granular control over who can access production deployments within their workspace, addressing a key governance requirement for organizations managing sensitive or internal-facing applications.

Granular Deployment Access Controls for Replit Teams

As part of its February 20, 2026 platform update, Replit introduced a new Deployment Visibility Settings feature for Teams and Enterprise customers. The addition gives organization administrators the ability to scope access to deployed applications based on the role of each team member.

How Deployment Visibility Works

Administrators can now configure each deployment's visibility to one of three levels: admins only, all team members, or all viewers. This role-based access model leverages Replit's existing permission structure β€” which distinguishes between admins, members, guests, and viewers β€” and applies it directly to production deployment access.

Previously, managing who could view or interact with deployed applications within a team workspace required workarounds or external authentication layers. The new settings embed this control natively into the deployment workflow.

Who Benefits

This feature is most relevant to organizations building internal tools, dashboards, or data applications on Replit that should not be universally accessible across the team. For example, a company could deploy an admin-facing analytics application and restrict visibility to admins only, while keeping a general status dashboard accessible to all members including viewer-tier stakeholders.

It also integrates naturally with Replit's Private Deployments capability β€” where deployed apps can be gated behind Replit authentication β€” providing a layered approach to deployment security for enterprise teams.

Context Within Replit's Enterprise Push

This update is part of a broader series of enterprise-oriented improvements from Replit, which has been building out its Teams and Enterprise access control infrastructure. Alongside SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, and SOC 2 compliance, Deployment Visibility Settings adds another layer of governance tooling for organizations that require fine-grained control over their development and deployment environments.
